Lazio have been linked with Everton’s Ramiro Funes Mori.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio have made a loan offer for Everton’s Ramiro Funes Mori.
The report claims that the Serie A side are confident the Argentine centre-back will join this summer after all but completing a deal for Barcelona’s versatile player Adriano.
Everton are still currently manager-less after sacking Roberto Martinez towards the end of last season, although it is looking increasingly likely that Ronald Koeman will take over the vacant spot.

Whether the Southampton boss moves to Goodison Park or not, the new manager will want to bring in his own players and those currently at the club are under consideration.
Mori was signed by Martinez, and during Phil Jagielka’s absence with injury he soon became a first-team regular alongside England international John Stones.
However, Everton had a poor defensive record this past season, and question marks have been raised regarding the centre-back’s awareness and concentration amid the fast-paced Premier League.

The report claims Lazio are confident of bringing him in on loan, although it would come as a surprise if Everton agree to the deal considering they remain pretty light in defensive numbers.
The 25-year-old started 24 Premier League matches this past season, averaging 7.8 clearances per game.
