West Ham United are keen on AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, West Ham United will move on to other options if their number one target Carlos Bacca opts to go on AC Milan’s upcoming US tour in the coming days.
The report claims that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs and that Milan are keen for Bacca to leave in order to reinvest in the squad, but the player is still undecided.
West ham have made no secret of their desire to sign a new striker this summer, as co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan look to provide boss Slaven Bilic with the ammunition for a top four spot.
The Hammers have been linked with a number of players such as Alexandre Lacazette, Michy Batshuayi and Christian Benteke, yet it now seems they have their sights firmly set on Bacca.
The Colombia international only joined Milan 12 months ago, moving to the San Siro from Sevilla after helping the La Liga side to two successive Europa League triumphs.
Despite Milan’s struggles last season, Bacca proved himself to be one of Europe’s leading strikers by topping the club’s scoring charts with an impressive 18 league goals in 38 matches.
The 29-year-old would fit the profile West Ham are looking for, yet a deal for the former Sevilla man is seemingly proving a complicated matter with the striker undecided.
The clock is ticking, and with the Hammers waiting to hear of the Colombian’s intentions, Gianluca Di Marzio insists the East London club will move on if Bacca attends Milan’s trip to the United States.
