Fulham and West Ham United have been linked with Alassane Plea.

According to a report by Sky Sports (live transfer thread, July 1st at 18:46), Fulham and West Ham United have joined Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United in the race to sign Nice forward Alessane Plea.
The report claims that Nice are looking for around £26.5 million for the player, a figure which the Premier League quartet may be willing to pay following his terrific goal scoring campaign last term.
Plea netted an impressive 16 league goals last season despite playing several games in a wide left forward position, while he also contributed with five assists.
His versatility makes him an intriguing prospect, while at 25 years of age he possesses bags of potential to potentially go on and become a top player for a leading European club.

Fulham are in the market for a new forward player this summer having relied heavily on loan stars Lucas Piazon and centre-forward Aleksandar Mitrovic during their Championship playoff winning campaign.
Slavisa Jokanovic will know that the Cottagers are going to be in a likely relegation scrap this coming season, and their Premier League survival may depend on how clinical they are in the final third.
West Ham, under newly-appointed boss Manuel Pellegrini, have been linked with a host of attacking players but up until now their only forays in the transfer market have come by way of defensive players.

Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianksi have arrived, but the Hammers will be desperate to bolster their attacking options and bring some real excitement to the team.
Plea is a coveted player with Spurs and Newcastle also reportedly interested, but perhaps he would see the latest two London clubs linked as more appealing with guaranteed first-team football a potential factor.
