Bayern Munich have been linked with Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.

According to The Sun, Bayern Munich are plotting a German record bid for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
The report claims that the Bundesliga champions sent head of recruitment Michael Reschke to check him out in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City with the club planning a £65 million move.
Lukaku’s future at Everton was heavily in doubt during the summer as the striker made it clear how he harbours hopes of playing for a Champions League club fighting for top honours.
The Toffees struggled last season and many suggested that the Belgium international’s ambitions had outgrown the club, yet the arrival of Ronald Koeman as boss seemingly persuaded him to stay on.

Bayern Munich boast one of the strongest squads in world football and in Robert Lewandowksi a striker who is comparable with the very best on the planet.
However, the Poland international has flirted with the idea of testing his skills outside of Germany and perhaps Bayern see Lukaku as an ideal figure to come in as his long-term replacement.
Lukaku is Belgium’s leading goal scorer in Premier League history with 66 goals since joining Chelsea back in 2011, and he has cemented his place as one of the biggest talents in the world.

Still only 23, the Toffees centre forward has huge potential and it is seemingly only a matter of time before he departs Goodison Park for a top European club looking to challenge on all fronts.
The report goes on to say that Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti will spend the season keeping a close eye on the striker as any potential deal for Lukaku will not take place until next summer.
