Arsenal have been linked with Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez while West Ham United remain keen on Theo Walcott.

According to The Sun, Arsenal are to complete deals for Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez after learning the latter also has a tempting release clause.
The report claims that the Gunners were shocked to find Mahrez’s release clause so low and will team him up with Vardy at the Emirates next season as Theo Walcott remains likely to join West Ham United.
Vardy has dominated the headlines over the weekend as the England international nears a switch to Arsenal after the North London club activated his reported £20 million release clause.

The 29-year-old was instrumental in Leicester’s title win as he netted 24 goals, yet many Premier League observers felt Mahrez was the true star of the team as he terrorised defences.
The former Le Havre man can play anywhere in the final third and he showed his true qualities this past season, scoring 17 goals and adding a further 11 assists in 37 league matches.
Mahrez, 25, deservedly won the PFA Player of the Year award and had already been linked with Europe’s elite clubs, yet The Sun now claim he is set to join Vardy at the Emirates Stadium.

Mahrez joining Arsenal would give the North London club vast options in the final third, suggesting Wenger could allow one or two to leave with the report naming Walcott as the likely candidate.
The former Southampton academy graduate has fallen out of favour at the club and has since been linked with West Ham, and the report goes on to say that a switch to the Hammers is now likely.
