Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have been linked with Hamburg’s Josha Vagnoman.
According to The Sun, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are tracking Hamburg’s Josha Vagnoman.
The report claims that the Gunners’ head of recruitment Sven Mislintat has watched the 17-year-old on a number of occasions this season as interest in the youngster increases.
Vagnoman is predominantly a fullback capable of playing on either side, and he represented the German U17 national time at the youth World Cup last summer in which England eventually won.
Arsenal have made numerous changes to their first-team squad this season, what with Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Mathieu Debuchy moving on and big-money signings arriving.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette both joined the Gunners for club record fees, while Henrick Mkhitaryan also moved to the Emirates as part of the deal which saw Sanchez join Manchester United.
Arsenal spending big money on proven players isn’t really in their DNA under boss Arsene Wenger, therefore their reported interest in Vagnoman comes as little surprise considering the budding reputation he is gaining.
The report goes on to add that Hamburg want to include him in their first-team set-up, but the player is yet to sign a professional contract at the club and as a result cannot do so until he agrees terms.
Chelsea, City and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on the player valued at £2.66 million, but Arsenal are seemingly upping their intentions and could make a move for him this summer.
