Nottingham Forest have been linked with Hull City’s Max Clark and Abel Hernandez.

Nottingham Forest could be in a race against time if they wish to sign Hull City duo Max Clark and Abel Hernandez as the soon-to-be out of contract stars have been offered new deals at the KCOM Stadium.
Hull City have confirmed on their official Twitter page that the coveted duo have been offered new deals to stay at the club, while another reported Forest target Michael Dawson is also in talks over his future.
The Reds are in desperate need of bulking up their squad this summer as a lowly midtable Championship finish illustrates how short they are of challenging for a top six spot in terms of quality.
Aitor Karanka has already freshened up the squad with several new additions in the January transfer window, yet the Spaniard has strongly hinted at another overhaul this summer as he seeks a promotion charge next term.

Hull’s Uruguay international striker Hernandez has Championship promotion experience on his CV, while his goal scoring record at this level demonstrates just what a coup he could be on a free transfer.
The Nottingham Post claim Aston Villa and Leeds United are also interested in the striker, though the 27-year-old knows he would be guaranteed first-team football at the City Ground and that could be a telling incentive.
Max Clark is another who has been linked with Forest as Karanka seeks to buy a new left-back, while the Hull Daily Mail claims the 22-year-old has also attracted interest from playoff chasers Millwall.

Clark would be ideal for Forest considering his age, potential and understanding of the Championship. Moreover, linking him up with Ben Osborn would give Karanka’s side a dynamic and youthful left flank.
The Nottingham Post also claimed Forest were denied a January move for Michael Dawson, and it remains to be seen whether they will go back in for the former City Ground favourite this summer.
With Hull keen to keep all three on Humberside, it could be a case of now or never if Forest have any real aspirations of bringing them in with all three potential deals making plenty of sense.
