Norwich City’s Teemu Pukki has been in excellent goal scoring form this season.

Norwich City forward Teemu Pukki says he is a completely different type of player to the one that played for Celtic as he is making an excellent impact in the Championship this season, Eastern Daily Press report.
“I think I’m a totally different player to what I was at the time when I was at Celtic. I grew up a lot in my time in Denmark and of course, the level is a bit higher than I’ve been used to lately,” Pukki explained.
“I’m really enjoying it here, playing for this club and also living with my family in Norwich. We as a family like it and I’m enjoying playing, so that’s all we came here for.”
Pukki joined Scottish Premiership side Celtic from Schalke in the summer of 2013, replacing Gary Hooper who incidentally left the Hoops to join the Canaries when they were in the Premier League.
The Finland international arrived at Celtic Park with a decent reputation, but just seven goals in 25 league appearances he was deemed somewhat of a failure as he left to join Brondby after just 12 months in Scotland.
Now, though, Pukki is a well-established goal scorer who after netting 37 league goals in his last two seasons in Denmark, has seven goals and one assist in 13 starts for Norwich after joining the club on a free transfer.

Replacing Hooper at Celtic wasn’t ideal for Pukki, as he was tasked with playing on the shoulder of the last defender and running in behind – a trait which saw Hooper net 63 times in 95 games for Celtic.
But that isn’t Pukki’s main strength, and at Norwich the 28-year-old is used more as a focal point upfront who likes to drop short, receive the ball into feet and bring fellow attacking players into the fold.
Aside from his goals, Pukki averages an impressive 1.4 key passes per game and a 76.1% pass-accuracy rate with the Canaries (Whoscored) – proving himself more than just a goal scorer.
