Millwall host Bolton Wanderers this weekend.

Millwall defender Jake Cooper believes it’s too early to be writing any team off when quizzed about Bolton Wanderers’ survival chances following their poor run of form, South London Press and Mercury report.
“Yeah, I think so,” Cooper responded when asked if it is too early to be talking about condemning clubs to relegation. “You look at the way they [Bolton] performed last season to get themselves out of trouble.”
“They started this one really well as well. You can’t knock anyone in this league – it’s tough and relentless’, he said.
Bolton head into their clash with fellow strugglers Millwall in dire form, winning just one of their last 13 Championship games and scoring a mere two goals in their last ten leaving. Bolton are currently 23rd in the Championship table.
The Trotters haven’t been playing too badly, but a distinct lack of quality in the final third has been their undoing in recent games.
Millwall, in contrast, have improved from a slow start to the season and they pushed league leaders Norwich City all the way in their last encounter at Carrow Road, with the Lions unlucky to lose 4-3 at the death.

Bolton are in desperate need of a positive result, with manager Phil Parkinson recently telling Bolton News how the international break can serve as a clean slate for several players who have been under-performing.
The Trotters retained their Championship status on the final day of last season, but this time around the level of competition has increased and teams around them like Hull City, Rotherham United and Millwall have started to pick up some form
