Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion have been linked with Sam McCallum.

Coventry City boss Mark Robins has told reporters that it would take a lot of money to prize away Sam McCallum amid reported interest from Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion, Coventry Telegraph report.
“He’s a really good player. But if anyone wants to take him it’s going to cost a hell of a lot of money,” Robins explained.
“There’s no interest or appetite to sell. And I wouldn’t think it would be beneficial for him to go anywhere at this stage. I think if anyone is going to take him it’s going to have to be a top Premier League team.”
Robins’ comments come after both Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion were cited as suitors for the youngster according to a report by the Express and Star.
Leeds had already been linked with one Coventry youngster in Jodi Jones, and the Coventry Telegraph recently claimed the Whites were also monitoring McCallum’s progress with the Sky Blues.
The versatile left-back joined Coventry in 2018. He started his career at Gillingham, but after being released he dropped down into non-league with Hearn Bay before climbing back up the ladder.

McCallum, 19, has shown plenty of potential and this season he has been a regular for Coventry with six starts as the Midlands club look to earn promotion back to the Championship following a lengthy absence.
He has a contract until 2022, so Coventry aren’t in a position where they need to sell. Moreover, Robins’ comments suggest the Baggies and Leeds may have to pay big if they realistically hope to sign him.
