Liverpool transfer target Stephane M’Bia holds hopes of one day playing under Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Queens Park Rangers midfielder Stephane M’Bia is a free agent this summer after his contract expired at the West London club.
A number of teams have been linked with the star, notably La Liga side Sevilla where he spent the past season on loan and Merseyside duo Everton and Liverpool.
Liverpool, in particular, are keen on bolstering their midfield ahead of next season and a natural defensive midfielder has been seen as a priority.
The Reds have already completed the move for Leverkusen starlet Emre Can, but his lack of experience in the Premier League could see boss Brendan Rodgers add another midfielder this summer.
Whilst Champions League football next season is what the Cameroonian international is aiming for, his real dream is to play under Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
“I would like to play in the Champions League. I feel honoured to be a part of Sevilla’s Europa League project, but I want to step up and win something more important like the Champions League.” He said, quoted by the Spanish press El Desmarque.
“My dream is to be coached by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and hopefully one day that will become a reality.”
The 28-year-old’s chances of playing under Mourinho for The Blues in the near future, however, appear slim given the competition at Stamford Bridge.
Stephane M’Bia does have other options though, with Sevilla keen to make his move permanent and a number of fellow Premier League clubs which would want to count on his services next season.
