Norwich City have signed Sergi Canos from Liverpool.

As confirmed by the club’s official website, Norwich City have signed Sergi Canos from Liverpool.
A report in the Mirror claims the midfielder has joined the Canaries for a £2.5 million fee, a potential bargain for a player who has all the attributes needed to succeed at Championship level and beyond.
The 19-year-old began his career as a youth player for Valencia-based club Nules before moving to Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy, spending three years in Catalonia.

At 16, he moved to Liverpool following international clearance and impressed for the youth teams, later joining Brentford on a season-long loan deal where he netted seven times in 38 league games.
The Reds thought highly of the player, yet heading into this summer he was entering the final 12 months of his contract on Merseyside and previous reports from ESPN claim he rejected a new deal.

Rather than potentially losing him for free next summer, Liverpool seemingly decided to cash in on him now with Norwich benefitting by arguably picking up one of the bargains of the summer.
The Canaries will be keen to make an immediate return to the Premier League following their relegation, and in Canos they have signed an excellent youngster capable of replacing the recently sold Nathan Redmond.

Here is how both sets of supporters reacted to confirmation of the deal via social networking site Twitter:
