Liverpool’s away victories over Crystal Palace and Leicester City this season underlines the club’s Premier League title credentials, as they have achieved something none of their title rivals managed last term.

Selhurst Park and the King Power Stadium are tough places to go, demonstrated by the fact that none of Liverpool’s title rivals managed to beat both clubs away from home last season.

The Foxes picked up three points at home to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur last season, while holding Manchester United to a draw. Crystal Palace beat Chelsea 2-1 at Selhurst Park and held Manchester City to a 0-0 draw.

Not only have Liverpool beat Crystal Palace and Leicester already this season, but they’ve done so without ever needing to hit top gear.

Liverpool have started this season by winning all four matches, momentarily leaving them at the top of the Premier League table. There will, however, be tougher tests to come – notably a clash with Tottenham Hotspur following the return from the upcoming international break.
