Nottingham Forest have struggled for form over the past few weeks.
Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka has taken to social networking site Twitter in order to reassure supporters that the commitment is there to work to the best of their ability following a run of poor form.
The Reds have gradually slipped down the Championship table, and the arrival of former Middlesbrough manager Karanka has done little to arrest the slide.
Since the former Real Madrid defender became Forest boss, the East Midlands side have managed to win just one of seven league matches, with their only victory coming at league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Following the 1-1 home draw with fellow strugglers Reading, Karanka has made the point that Rome was not built in a day and reassured fans on Twitter that the commitment is there to improve.
Forest’s run of poor form has seen the gap between themselves and the bottom three close to eight points, though with the likes of Sunderland and Barnsley massively out of form there is no need to panic just yet.
Karanka’s men are back in action this weekend when they travel to Queens Park Rangers, and they will be hoping for a similar performance to the reverse fixture when Forest ran out 4-0 winners.
The East Midlands side may be out of form, but two draws in their last two games has pointed to a bit more stability and January arrivals such as Ben Watson and Lee Tomlin are starting to make a difference.
Karanka went out and brought in numerous new players during the transfer window, and he will be hoping that with added time to gel, results will soon start to improve.
