Bolton Wanderers have been linked with Cardiff City’s Kadeem Harris.

According to a report in The Sun, Bolton Wanderers are monitoring Cardiff City winger Kadeem Harris ahead of the January transfer window as they plot to strengthen their squad.
The 25-year-old is out of contract at Cardiff in the summer and can therefore sign a pre-contract agreement elsewhere, while the Bluebirds may even be tempted into selling him early.
But his excellent form in recent weeks for Cardiff makes any potential switch to Bolton unrealistic.
Firstly, Cardiff boss Neil Warnock has explained how the player has been the Welsh side’s best player over the past six weeks, and therefore might be reluctant to lose Harris.
Moreover, his excellent recent performances in the Premier League have also reportedly alerted Leeds United and Aston Villa to his situation (The Sun) – teams who have ambitions of getting promoted this season.
Bolton are currently struggling as they lie 23rd in the Championship table, and a player like Harris would be an excellent addition as his pace, trickery and eye for goal in the final third is what is missing for the Trotters.

Bolton have scored a Championship low of just 11 goals in 17 league games thus far. They are in desperate need of adding creativity and a goal threat in January. Harris would tick both boxes, playing a key role in Cardiff’s recent 2-1 victory over Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion.
In order to starve off relegation this season, Bolton simply must strengthen their attacking options in January but they stand little chance of adding Harris to their ranks.
