Forestieri missed out on the recent Sheffield derby, despite claims he could have been fit enough to warrant a place on the bench. With just 18 months left on his contract, Wednesday may feel January is the optimal time to let him go, and after the club’s financial pressures in the summer there could be further reason to look at moving him on.
