Ipswich Town’s Alan Judge joined on a short-term contract from Brentford.

Ipswich Town play-maker Alan Judge has suggested he would be willing to remain at the club in League One as he feels it would not hinder his chances of receiving international call-ups, East Anglian Daily Times reports.
‘No’; Judge responded when asked if a drop into League One would affect his Republic of Ireland prospects.
“I know Mick likes me. Somehow or other we’ve always just about evaded each other, for whatever reason, so I’ve been really looking forward to working with him finally.
“Getting back in the Ireland squad was one of my aims when I came here, to show that I could still do it.”
Judge joined Ipswich from fellow Championship side Brentford during the January transfer window, signing a six-month contract until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old, who is capable of playing in several attacking roles, has started 11 Championship games for the Tractor Boys and has performed well, averaging an impressive 2.8 key passes per game.
He is currently on course to leave Ipswich with his deal set to expire in the summer, but his comments suggest he could be willing to remain at Portman Road even if the club drop into League One.

Relegation from the Championship seems inevitable. Ipswich currently lie bottom of the table, 13 points adrift of safety with just eight games remaining.
Judge has shown during the past couple of months that he has the ability to continue at Championship level, and it would not be a surprise to see one or two other second-tier clubs consider coming in for him this summer.
