Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen has been linked with Arsenal.

Jarrod Bowen of Hull City celebrates scoring a goal at KCOM Stadium on February 26, 2019 in Hull, England.

According to a recent report in the Sun, Arsenal are plotting a £12 million for Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen.

The talented youngster netted 22 goals in all competitions for Hull last season, topping their scoring charts and attracting interest from both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur if reports are to be believed.

It is claimed in the Sun that Hull have placed a £15 million price-tag on Bowen. However, they could be open to letting him go cheaper if the Gunners come calling in the coming days.

Hull won’t want to lose their prized asset, yet they could soften the blow of a potential deal by asking for Arsenal youngster Krystian Bielik as part of the deal.

The Poland U21 international reportedly cost Arsenal £2.4 million back in 2015. However, after four years at the club, he is no nearer to breaking through to the first-team squad at the Emirates.

A separate report in the Sun claims Bielik wants to leave Arsenal in search of first-team football.

The 21-year-old thrived during Charlton Athletic’s promotion to the Championship last season, earning the man of the match award during the Addicks’ 2-1 Wembley playoff final win over Sunderland.

After proving himself a cut above League One level, a switch to the Championship would make sense and Hull could be an ideal destination as they look to strengthen under new manager Grant McCann.

Finances are tight at the KCOM Stadium therefore Hull’s summer business could be restricted to loan deals or potential player exchanges should they grant the likes of Bowen or Kamil Grosicki a move away from the club.

Bielik can play both as a central defender and in midfield. He could offer Hull plenty of versatility, while his potential means the Tigers could be able to net a sizeable selling fee later down the line.
