Hull City have agreed a deal to sign Sean McLoughlin from Cork City.

Hull City boss Grant McCann wants his club to push head and sign more players after confirming the Tigers have agreed a deal to sign defender Sean McLoughlin from Cork City, the Hull Daily Mail reports.
“We’re still in the market for one or two others. We’ll hopefully get more. We’re working very hard, definitely on two on top of that one,” McCann explained.
“He [McLoughlin] is a young boy with a lot of potential. We’re going to need to nurture him but left-footed centre-halves are hard to find, especially good ones. He’ll have a big future.”
Hull have had a testing summer so far, with financial issues restricting them in the market.
Grant McCann has taken over following Nigel Adkins’ resignation, and he has managed to bring in five players with McLoughlin the latest to arrive from Irish Premier Division side Cork City. The Republic of Ireland U21 will provide further options in defence.

The Tigers, however, are still short and they especially need to add another striker before the season starts after opting against extending Fraizer Campbell’s contract at the end of last season.
Campbell was a regular at the KCOM Stadium, netting 12 goals and grabbing six assists.
There are still question marks over the futures of Kamil Grosicki and Jarrod Bowen, both of which are likely to have attracted interest from top clubs with the latter reportedly linked with Arsenal.
