Former manager and current pundit Ian Holloway is backing Ipswich Town to pile further misery on Derby County by recording a 1-0 win at the iPro Stadium on Tuesday evening, Sky Sports report.
The Rams have made a poor start the current campaign, picking up just five points from their opening six Championship matches and scoring just one goal in the process.
Nigel Pearson’s side are the lowest scorers in England, and their only league scorer is defender Craig Forsyth who has been ruled out for some time with a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Former Leicester City boss Pearson has made a number of changes to both system and playing style since arriving, yet the Rams haven’t adapted well and currently look shot of confidence.
Holloway, writing in his column for Sky Sports, feels Derby’s luck isn’t going to change against Ipswich and adds Mick MacCarthy’s side is arguably one of the last sides they will want to face at present.
“I thought Ipswich played quite well against Reading at the weekend and I’m going to go for an away win, with Derby’s goal curse continuing,” Holloway wrote, predicting 1-0 to the Tractor Boys.
“Facing Ipswich at home is an absolute nightmare for Derby, but they’ve got to try and get that front line scoring goals. The expectations are really high and Nigel Pearson made some changes at the weekend and it still didn’t happen for them.”

While Derby have started the season poorly, Ipswich have been solid enough without hitting the sort of level of performances McCarthy will expect from his side.
The Suffolk-based side lost their last game 2-1 at Reading, though their performance – especiialy in the second period – was pretty good and some felt the result was harsh on the visitors.
Derby haven’t beaten Ipswich at the iPro Stadium since 2006, drawing three and losing five of their last eight home matches with the Tractor Boys.
