Brighton and Hove Albion have been linked with Chelsea’s Reece James.

According to a report in The Sun, Brighton and Hove Albion want to sign Chelsea’s Reece James on loan next season as new manager Graham Potter is wanting to offer him Premier League football.
Potter will know all about James’s capabilities as the former Swansea City manager came up against the versatile defensive player during his impressive loan spell at Wigan Athletic.
James moved to Wigan on a season-long loan deal and made 44 Championship starts for the Latics. He predominantly featured at right-back, although he also had spells as a holding midfielder.
Potter this past week became Brighton’s new manager following the dismissal of Chris Hughton.
The Seagulls will be in the market for a new right-back this summer as popular figure Bruno announced his retirement at the end of the season with the Spaniard set to move into coaching.

James has been capped at England U20 level as he continues to show excellent promise. After a superb season at Championship level with Wigan, he now seems ready for a crack at the top-flight.
