Middlesbrough’s Martin Braithwaite has been tipped to leave the club.

Middlesbrough manager Tony Pulis has told reporters that Martin Braithwaite is in talks to join La Liga side Leganes and believes a deal will go through this month, the Northern Echo reports.
“We will do business, in and out. Braithwaite is talking to Leganes as we talk. The club who were interested in him in the summer. We think that will happen. Good luck if he wants to go. He wanted to go in summer. He has got his move now,” Pulis explained.
Braithwaite joined the club for a reported £9 million from Toulouse 18 months ago (Northern Echo), becoming then-manager Garry Monk’s biggest signing during his short tenure at the Riverside Stadium.
The Denmark international has gone on to make 29 Championship starts for Boro, scoring eight goals and grabbing two assists.
Taking to Twitter to comment on the news, Boro supporters do not seem too fussed about his impending departure.
Capable of playing either up front or in a wide attacking position, Braithwaite has fallen out of favour under Pulis and has only started twice since October.
He was absent from the match-day squad in the recent 1-1 draw at Derby County.

Pulis has made no secret of his desire to get players in this month, but getting men out could be just as important with Braithwaite’s expected departure leaving a void to fill.
The Teesside club are currently sitting in the play-offs having dropped off the pace over the past six weeks, but a strong January could put them back in contention for an automatic promotion spot.
