Fulham host Aston Villa in a crunch tie this coming weekend.

Defender Tim Ream has sent a warning to his side’s Championship promotion rivals by admitting Fulham aren’t ruling themselves out in the race for automatic promotion, Gestwestlondon report.
The Cottagers saw their five-match winning streak come to an end at the weekend as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers, yet confidence is still high at Craven Cottage.
After a poor start to season in which Fulham found themselves as low as 17th position in the table, Slavisa Jokanovic’s side have turned it around and now occupy one of the playoff spots.

With 15 games remaining, Ream feels his side can bridge the seven-point gap to second place Aston Villa and warned their upcoming opponents they will be gunning for all three points against their fellow promotion rivals.
“To stay in the play offs, we need to beat around us and to possibly get to that second spot we definitely have to take three points from the team around us and that’s what we’re looking to do,” Ream told Getwestlondon.
“Everybody knows their roles now, guys can come in and out and change the game. You’ve seen that over the last nine games and it’s been positive all around and the team is really clicking.”
“We’re just going to focus on getting three points against Villa.”

Villa head in to the clash at Craven Cottage in red hot form, winning seven consecutive Championship games.
The Villains’ fine form has seen them leapfrog Derby County into second place, though the Rams could move back above Villa if they pick up a positive result against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
Seven points separates Fulham and Villa, but that could all change in the coming weeks and Jokanovic’s side will have a better understanding of their objectives following a run of tricky fixtures.
After Villa, Fulham go on to face Bristol City (A), Wolverhampton Wanderers (H), Derby County (A), Sheffield United (H) and Preston North End (A) in what will surely be a testing period.
