Ben Osborn suggests reason behind Nottingham Forest’s uplift in form

Nottingham Forest picked up four points from Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday.

Nottingham Forest winger Ben Osborn believes more aggression has been the key behind his side’s turn in form and feels the Reds can go on and extend their current unbeaten run, nottinghamforest.co.uk report.

“I don’t want to jinx it but we had been feeling that. We were disappointed not to come away with a win from Swansea then the result on Wednesday night was massive,” Osborn told the club’s official website.

“We do feel like something is turning, the way we have been playing has been better since the Brentford game. We have been a lot more aggressive and we need to be dominating the games a bit more, so it feels like there could be a run coming.”

Forest were beaten fairly convincingly at Brentford a few weeks ago, but since the international break they have regrouped and picked up four points from games against Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday.

After making so many signings in the summer, it was always going to take time for Aitor Karanka’s men to click and expectations of a promotion charge this term has made life at the City Ground more difficult.

But signs of improvement are there, and the upcoming home game against a Rotherham United side who have lost every away game thus far represents a fantastic opportunity to pick up another three points.

Momentum will be key for Forest this term and following their clash against the Millers, they go on to face Blackburn Rovers and Millwall – two teams they should also be looking at beating.

With just one defeat in 10 games in all competitions this season, and that being a 2-1 loss at Brentford, it certainly hasn’t been a disastrous start for the Reds despite drawing five from eight league matches.

With players such as Joao Carvalho, Lewis Grabban and Osborn coming into form, the Reds have the ability to kick on and by the time the next international break comes along they could well be in a playoff position.
