Nottingham Forest host Bristol City this weekend.

Nottingham Forest host Bristol City at the City Ground this weekend, with City goalkeeper Frank Fielding singling out attacker Lee Tomlin as the player they need to watch out for, bcfc.co.uk reports.
The 29-year-old joined Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season during the January transfer window (from Cardiff City), and he has made quite an impact at the East Midlands club.
Tomlin has scored four goals and grabbed a further three assists in ten league starts for Forest, the sort of record which is comparable with the very best attacking midfielders in the Championship.

The former Middlesbrough man previously played his best football under boss Aitor Karanka, recording eight goals and 10 assists in the 2014/15 campaign, so his current form comes as little surprise.
Speaking to his club’s official website, Bristol City shot-stopper Fielding reserved special praise for Tomlin as he mentioned the former Robbins ace when asked to single out Nottingham Forest’s biggest threat.
“Tomlin. [He] scored and set one up [against Barnsley] so we’ll both be working on each other’s strengths and weaknesses. They are a team in transition at the moment and we’ll try to see focus and go and get a result.”

Fielding singling out Tomlin as Nottingham Forest’s main threat should give the East Midlands club further incentive to try and sign the player on a permanent basis this coming summer.
It seems the 29-year-old doesn’t have much of a future at parent club Cardiff, but his impressive form at the City Ground may see the Bluebirds command a higher fee for his services.
Regardless, Tomlin is far and away Nottingham Forest’s most dangerous player on the ball, and considering his previous success under Karanka at Boro, the club would be wise to do all they can to make his loan switch permanent.
