The Reds travelled to West London looking to break a winless run stretching eight league games.
It has been a desperate time for the East Midlands club, and for midfielder Robert Tesche in particular as he has had to make do with a regular role on the Forest substitutes bench.
However, with David Vaughan absent, caretaker boss Paul Williams entrusted Tesche with anchoring his side’s midfield and protecting the back four against a free-scoring and dangerous Fulham attack.

Tesche provided a whopping 17 ball recoveries, four more than Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Conor Coady and Brighton and Hove Albion’s impressive Beram Kayal.
Moreover, the Forest midfielder posted eight interceptions – a tally matched only by Bolton’s Oscar Threlkeld.
Tesche, 28, has only made 15 Championship starts this season and when considering how effective he can be in the middle of midfield, it’s rather surprising he hasn’t featured more at the City Ground.
