Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Arsenal have all been linked with Bristol City’s Lloyd Kelly.

According to a recent report in the Mirror (live transfer blog, December 8th at 17:48), Tottenham Hotspur lead the race to sign Bristol City’s highly-rated youngster Lloyd Kelly.
The report claims Spurs face competition from Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. But who is the Bristol City youngster attracting attention from the Premier League’s leading clubs?
Here are five facts you may not have known about Lloyd Kelly:
1) Kelly was born in Bristol on October 6th, 1998, three days after Aston Villa beat Coventry City 2-1 at Highfield Road to open up a remarkable six-point lead at the top of the 1998/99 Premier League table.
2) The 20-year-old defender came through the Bristol City youth academy, and made his debut in a 5-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle in the Carabao Cup in August 2017.
3) Kelly made several appearances for the England U20 side before earning his first cap with the U21 side last month. He went on to play over an hour in the 5-1 victory over Denmark.

4) Bristol City boss Lee Johnson feels Kelly will become a centre-back in time, despite playing 17 games for the Robins this season at left-back. Johnson also described him as an ‘absolute beast’ (BBC Radio Bristol) back in September.
5) The talented youngster stands at 6ft 3inch and is the second Bristol City left-back to be linked with a move to the Premier League in just six months, following Joe Bryan’s summer switch to Fulham.
