Norwich City’s Marco Stiepermann has signed a new three-year deal.

Norwich City supporters have taken to Twitter to react to the club’s official announcement that attacking midfielder Marco Stiepermann has signed a new three-year deal at Carrow Road.
The 28-year-old joined Norwich in August 2017, becoming one of the first recruits under Daniel Farke.
Stiepermann was mainly deployed in a deeper role during his debut campaign at Norwich, with the club finishing 14th in the Championship table.
This past season, however, he has been a mainstay in a more advanced role, featuring in every league game since mid-September and contributing with nine goals and six assists.
Norwich supporters have witnessed his importance to the side over the past nine months as the Canaries won promotion to the Premier League, and they feel his new deal is just reward for a superb campaign.
Stiepermann, 28, sees his new Norwich deal expire in 2022 and over the next three years he will be hoping he can help the Norfolk club establish themselves in the top flight after several recent attempts.

Daniel Farke’s side will likely have one of the smallest budgets in the Premier League, but smart recruitment can combat that and Stiepermann is proof that there is plenty of quality available at reasonable figures.
Norwich also signed the likes of Emiliano Buendia, Moritz Leitner, Onel Hernandez and Teemu Pukki for bargain fees and there is no reason why they can’t do the same again with Premier League football in mind.
