The Belgium international was heavily tipped to follow John Stones out of the exit door yet after much speculation he has opted to stay, giving the Toffees a big boost for the coming season.
With optimism high on the blue half of Merseyside, Mirallas has veen gone as far as saying that he believes the current squad of players is the best he has played with at Goodison Park.
“It’s all change at Everton,” the Belgium international told Sky Sports. “When you come to the training ground you can see it’s all changed.”

“The squad has changed, then there’s the new chairman and the new manager. Last season wasn’t good but it’s all changed and I hope we can win something.”
“When I started here the team was very good but every year we changed two or three players. This year I think it’s the best squad [we’ve had].”
Everton have started the season by taking four points from a possible six, drawing at home to Tottenham Hotspur before securing a 2-1 victory away at West Bromwich Albion.
With the potential of another arrival or two before Wednesday’s transfer deadline, Everton’s squad may become even better and as such a top six spot could be a realistic target.
