Derby County face rivals Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Derby County fans have taken to social networking site Twitter in order to lambaste the club’s decision to post a promotional video aimed at Nottingham Forest ahead of their upcoming clash at the City Ground.
The Rams have always been a club who connect with their supporters well, but this time their attempts to drum up the East Midlands derby with a warning to Forest has backfired with fans not impressed.
Gary Rowett’s men face Forest at the City Ground having won only one of their previous nine Championship fixtures – a 3-0 win over Brentford after the Bees were reduced to ten men after just 20 minutes.

Derby are winless in five and were thoroughly outplayed at Loftus road in the recent 1-1 draw with Queens park Rangers – a team Forest have scored a whopping nine goals against this season.
The Reds are languishing in the bottom half of the table, but their recent form is much better than Derby’s and boss Aitor Karanka has a decent record over the Rams which arguably makes Forest favourites.

The reverse fixture ended in a 2-0 win for Derby with Matej Vydra and David Nugent firing in the goals, but this game will no doubt take on a different theme as Forest have adjusted their style since Karanka’s appointment.
Derby, having slipped from second spot to fifth following a poor run of form, need to get back to winning ways or else they are in danger of falling out of the playoffs altogether.

It is their current form that has prompted supporters to question the club’s ‘We Are Coming’ promo video, and if anything, it could give the Reds that extra little motivation to have the last laugh come Sunday evening.
