Bolton Wanderers lost 2-0 at Aston Villa on Friday night.

Bolton Wanderers have taken to Twitter to comment on the performance of Pawel Olkowski, who struggled throughout his side’s 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa at Villa Park on Friday.
The Trotters headed into the game looking to put an end to a run of poor form, but Jack Grealish set the Villans on their way after just five minutes, and James Chester secured all three points for the hosts in the second period.
Bolton had their chances to score but lacked quality in key areas, while at the back they looked shaky and uncomfortable in possession, with Olkowski in particular standing out for the wrong reasons.
Here are some of the best comments from Bolton fans during and after the game:
Bolton’s season started brilliantly, as they won three of their opening four games – but just one win in their last 12 has seen the Lancashire side slip down the table, and facing the prospect of a relegation battle.
Bolton’s struggles mirrors those of defender Olkowski, who for the first few games of the season looked assured and confident – putting in man of the match displays against Preston North End and Birmingham City.

But over the past few games the 28-year-old Pole has looked poor, and against Villa he was dispossessed three times (more than any other Bolton player) and managed an unimpressive just over 70% pass accuracy (Whoscored).
Pressure is building on Trotters boss Phil Parkinson, with owner Ken Anderson coming out and giving the manager the dreaded vote of confidence in response to their defeat at Villa Park (Bolton News).
