Derby County lost 1-0 at Rotherham United on Saturday.

Derby County supporters have taken to Twitter to criticise winger Tom Lawrence after his unnecessary red card resulted in a swing in momentum, and led to Championship opponents Rotherham United taking all three points.
After a goalless first-half, the Rams upped the ante after the break and looked to be on top when Lawrence was shown a straight red card for a reckless lunging challenge from behind just before the hour mark.
Rotherham then went on to score the only goal of the game via a penalty a couple of minutes later, and despite Derby valiantly pressing for an equaliser with 10 men, they ultimately came up short.
Taking to Twitter, Derby fans felt Lawrence cost their side the opportunity at taking all three points:
Wales international Lawrence came back into the starting XI after missing out on a starting spot in the recent 2-1 win over Hull City, and at times it felt he was trying too hard to make an impression.

Derby manager Frank Lampard was also sent to the stands after showing his frustration at the officials, as the visitors struggled to contain their frustration in the second period.
The Rams would have expected to pick up all three points against Rotherham – despite the Millers’ excellent home record over the past nine months – yet defeat will have dented confidence heading in to the next two home games.
