Danny Simpson was on trial at West Bromwich Albion before training with Huddersfield Town.

According to the Sun, free agent Danny Simpson has agreed a short-term deal with Huddersfield Town as manager Danny Cowley looks to strengthen his squad.
The experienced fullback has been a free agent since his release from Leicester City.
Simpson originally joined up with West Bromwich Albion for a trial period but, having failed to win a deal with the Baggies, he has since been training at league rivals Huddersfield.
The Terriers have made an awful start to their Championship campaign. They’ve taken just one point from their opening eight games and lost 4-2 at West Brom last time out.
Simpson, 32, has plenty of Championship experience having previously earned promotions at both Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United.
The right-back’s biggest success, however, was incredibly lifting the Premier League trophy with Leicester City following the Foxes’s unbelievable 2014 title triumph.

Huddersfield will be hoping Simpson can use his experience to help the club move away from the drop zone. The Terriers still haven’t managed to shrug the losing mentality from last season’s poor top-flight campaign.
The report claims the former Leicester man has agreed a one-year deal ahead of Huddersfield’s home encounter with Millwall this weekend.
