Ipswich Town were easily beaten 3-0 at Millwall on Saturday.

Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to criticise the performance of Jonas Knudsen, who struggled throughout his side’s disappointing 3-0 defeat to fellow Championship strugglers Millwall.
The Tractor Boys headed to Millwall under the guidance of caretaker manager Bryan Klug, following the dismissal of Paul Hurst after the midweek 2-0 defeat to Leeds United at Elland Road.
Klug likes to play with a wing-back system, evident from his time in charge at the end of last season after former manager Mick McCarthy stepped down just before contract expired.
Knudsen was tasked with playing on the left side with licence to get forward, but his lack of quality on the ball was there for all to see, as was uncomfortable in possession – drawing plenty of criticism from the fans:
The 26-year-old had the most touches (92) of any Ipswich player over the course of the 90 minutes, but too many stray passes and aimless long balls took Knudsen’s pass accuracy to a woefully low 34.9% (Whoscored).
The Denmark international, to his credit, didn’t shy away from the ball but he was uncomfortable in his unfamiliar more attack-minded role, and he wasn’t helped by Millwall’s high-pressing style of play.

The Lions were on the front foot from the first minute and they played with much more intensity than Ipswich, with striker Lee Gregory defending from the front, harrying the defence and deservedly finding the net twice.
Incoming Ipswich manager Paul Lambert has a massive job on his hands, as Ipswich now sit bottom of the Championship table, five points from safety and completely devoid of any confidence.
