Brighton and Hove Albion host Fulham this weekend in the Premier League.

Brighton and Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton believes Fulham have spent wisely this summer despite splashing out more than £80 million on new players, he told the club’s official website.
The Cottagers have spent big as they look to consolidate themselves in the Premier League following their promotion last term, bringing in as many as 12 senior players.
The likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Jean Seri, Alfie Mawson and Joe Bryan have arrived on permanent deals while Fulham have also used the loan market well, adding big names such as Luciano Vietto and Andre Schurrle.
Speaking ahead of Brighton’s clash with Fulham, Seagulls boss Chris Hughton says his side’s recruitment department are well aware of the Cottagers’ signings and he believes they have spent well.
“They’ve recruited really well, and our recruitment department would be well aware of all of the players they brought in. They’re a team that can score goals and haven’t changed their style too much from last season,” the former Newcastle United manager explained.
“It gives them that real good continuity in everything that they do, and you know the type of game they want to play. I’ve been impressed with their signings and they’ve been very good value.”

A game between two potential midtable sides?
Brighton have had a tricky start to the campaign, yet they thoroughly impressed in their 3-2 win over Manchester United at the Amex Stadium and they put up a good fight in the recent 1-0 defeat at Liverpool.
The Seagulls comfortably avoided the drop last season, and after strengthening in the summer they look like a side who can push towards a midtable spot with a strong home form.
Many felt Fulham were a Premier League side in the making towards the end of last season, and after bringing in several top-quality players over the summer they shouldn’t have too many problems staying up.
With teams such as Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, Southampton, Newcastle United and even Burnley showing signs of struggle after limited spending, it would come a surprise to see either dragged into a relegation dogfight.
