Norwich City face Bolton Wanderers this weekend having lost to Preston North End in midweek.

Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul says his side will beat Bolton Wanderers this weekend if they manage to repeat their second-half performance against Preston North End in midweek, the Eastern Daily Press reports.
“There is a big task ahead of us. Again, if we didn’t create anything at Preston I would’ve been really worried or upset about the whole situation. But we’ve created four or five great chances and if we play the way we did in the second half, we will get a win at Bolton,” Krul explained.
Norwich were knocked off the summit of the Championship after they fell to a 3-1 defeat at Preston, while fellow promotion challengers Leeds United picked up a 2-1 home victory over Swansea City.
The Canaries came unstuck at Deepdale, yet it wasn’t for a lack of endeavour. Daniel Farke’s men dominated possession with 61%, while they recorded 23 shots (10 on target) compared to Preston’s 11 shots (four on target).
Still, the most important statistic states the Norfolk club lost 3-1, and now they will travel to Bolton this coming weekend looking to bounce back and get their promotion charge back on track.

The Trotters recorded a rare away win in midweek as they downed Birmingham City 1-0, but Reading’s victory over Lancashire rivals Blackburn Rovers means Bolton still find themselves second from bottom.
Phil Parkinson’s men will have to be clinical and tight at the back if they wish to beat Norwich. Bolton are the lowest scorers in the Championship with 21 strikes from 32 games, while Norwich have scored 61 times.
Krul has tasted Premier League football before with Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion. The Dutch goalkeeper has the experience to play a vital role for Norwich in the season run-in, but his comments may spur Bolton on to cause another shock result this weekend.
