Blackburn Rovers have been linked with Newcastle United’s Karl Darlow.

According to a report by Sky Sports, Blackburn Rovers are interested in signing Newcastle United’s Karl Darlow as a replacement for number one David Raya.
The report claims Raya is closing in on a move to Brentford, prompting Blackburn to seek a replacement as manager Tony Mowbray targets adding more experience to his side
Darlow hasn’t featured for Newcastle in the Premier League for more than 18 months while his last appearance came in the EFL Carabao Cup defeat to his former club Nottingham Forest.
The 28-year-old was a regular during the Magpies’ promotion to the Premier League, but he has since fallen out of favour at St James’s Park and speculation has mounted over his future.
Two months ago, Celtic were reportedly interested in signing him this summer, with the Chronicle claiming Newcastle rate him at £3 million.

Blackburn have been busy this summer. They have already signed Stewart Downing on a free transfer from Middlesbrough, while midfielder Bradley Johnson joined from Derby County on Friday morning.
Raya, 23, started 41 Championship games for Rovers last season. It will be a blow to the Lancashire club to see him join Championship rivals Brentford, but Darlow could offer them more experience as replacement.
