According to a report in The Mirror, Arsenal and Manchester United are tracking Norwich City youngster Ben Godfrey with the Canaries star rated at around £10 million.

The Mirror reports that both Arsenal and United will have scouts in attendance to watch Godfrey in the upcoming derby with Ipswich Town, while the former Norwich academy player is also said to have attracted interest from Lyon and RB Leipzig.

Godfrey has broken through to the Norwich first-team this season, profiting from captain Timm Klose’s long-term injury, to establish himself as a regular at the back.

The 21-year-old has made ten Championship starts with his first coming in mid-December, and he has helped the Norfolk club establish themselves in the top two as Daniel Farke’s men seek promotion to the Premier League.

Godfrey has a contract at Norwich until 2022, and he isn’t the only youngster to break through at Carrow Road this season, with Todd Cantwell, Jamal Lewis and the highly-rated Max Aarons also becoming regulars in the side.

Aarons has also been the subject of Premier League interest, with a report in The Sun in December claiming both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were keen on the £15m-rated right-back.

Norwich are currently second in the Championship table, although a point at home to Ipswich on Sunday will see them leapfrog Leeds United and regain top spot heading in to the final third of the campaign.
