Arsenal beat Hull City 4-1 at the KC Stadium this weekend.
Arsenal’s attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi put in arguably his best game of the current campaign as his side comfortably ran out 4-1 winners against Hull City at the KC Stadium.
The Gunners headed into the match in somewhat inconsistent form but it did not take them long to finally hit their stride, cutting Hull open on numerous occasions with their slick passing and movement.
Alexis Sanchez grabbed two goals while also missing a penalty, Theo Walcott rounded off a fabulous move for his second of the season while Granit Xhaka added gloss to the victory with a 30-yard screamer.
However, amid a number of excellent performers for Arsenal on the day, arguably the one who stood out most was young attacking midfielder Iwobi as he completely dominated the middle third of the pitch.

As shown by the table provided by Opta, the Nigeria international was a constant thorn in Hull’s side and he added plenty of defensive contributions to his normal attacking game.
Iwobi posted an impressive six shots and three chances created via key passes going forward, while in possession he took as many as 81 touches of the ball and completed 58 accurate passes.
The 20-year-old’s quality on the ball cannot be questioned, as shown by his cute back heel assist for Theo Walcott’s goal, yet it was his endeavour off the ball which really made a lasting impression.
He posted two tackles, two defensive duels won and seven ball recoveries before departing the field to a standing ovation from the pocket of Arsenal supporters with just over 10 minutes remaining.
