Shaw looks destined for an exit from Manchester United this summer, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all thought to be interested in a deal.

Luke Shaw has found life at Manchester United tough since Jose Mourinho became manager last summer, managing just nine Premier League appearances and often publicly criticised by the Portuguese manager.

After a £27m move from Southampton in the summer of 2014, Shaw has not made the progress many expected when he burst onto the scene as an exciting youngster. Rumours have recently been building that he will leave Old Trafford this summer.

So what would be the best move for the 21-year-old?

According to the Metro both Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in the England international, with the left-back position a major concern at both clubs.

As both Liverpool and Manchester City are currently above Manchester United in the table, Shaw would surely see a transfer to either club as a decent move, while their free-flowing and attacking styles would give him plenty of freedom.

Arguably the best move for the full-back would, however, be to Tottenham Hotspur, who have been linked with the ex-Saints man by the Express should Danny Rose leave White Hart Lane this summer.

Shaw was given his opportunity at St Mary’s by current Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, while joining the top tier’s currently best defensive side would give the starlet the discipline needed to finally realise his potential.
