Kevin Campbell has claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is ‘arrogant’ and has a ‘massive ego’, as he told the Highbury Squad.
But the former Arsenal striker added ‘that is the way they love them at Liverpool’ and they ‘want it to be that way’.
Whilst Manchester City have spent crazy over the years and won trophy after trophy under Pep Guardiola.
One man that has been able to stop their big pockets has been that of Klopp and his all-action Reds side.
In fact, whilst Man City have spent a lot more than their rivals on Merseyside, one thing they don’t have is the European Cup, which Klopp guided Liverpool to in 2019.
Nonetheless, this is what Campbell had to say about Klopp and how he is perceived by his own fans.
“Klopp’s arrogant,” said Campbell. “Trust me. Massive, massive ego.
“But, do you know what? That’s the way they love them at Liverpool. They want him to be the way he is because he gets that club. That’s just the way it is.”

Many feel, with Manchester City holding a nine-point lead at the top of the Premier League table, that the race for the title is over.
Those on Merseyside do have a game in hand, plus they are to visit the Etihad during the second half of the campaign.
So, if both teams continue in their ways, Liverpool could close that gap to three points.
And whilst Guardiola has probably won another Premier League title with so many months left, if anyone can stop them, then it’s Klopp and his players.
