Should Tottenham Hotspur make a move for Watford striker Troy Deeney in the summer transfer window?

Watford striker Troy Deeney recently shared his admiration of Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking to BBC Sport ahead of last weekend’s Premier League game between Tottenham and Arsenal at White Hart Lane, Deeney said: ”Spurs are the best team we have played this season. They box you in in midfield, the wing-backs fly on and they dare you to get the ball.
“You step in, then Christian Eriksen comes into space and they are through you before you know it. If they add two or three players to the squad they can be a force in Europe, never mind the Premier League.”

Deeney seems to have been impressed with Tottenham just like anyone else who has watched the North London outfit this season.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy should use this admiration of the 28-year-old to make a move for the Watford in the summer transfer window.
Deeney has proved himself in the Premier League and has shown that he can be a success for a mid-table club like Watford.
The Englishman has scored 10 goals and created 37 chances in 33 Premier League appearances for the Hornets so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the striker scored 13 goals and created 56 chances in 38 league games for Watford.
Harry Kane is the first-choice striker at Tottenham, and Deeney is not going to be able to dislodge the England international from his position.
However, the 28-year-old, who earns £65,000-a-week as salary at Vicarage Road according to The Mirror, would be a brilliant back-up.
Vincent Janssen has struggled for Tottenham this season, and it would make sense for the North London outfit to look for an alternative in the summer transfer window.
Deeney could be tempted into a move from Watford to Spurs. Not only would he be playing for one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, but the striker would also be competing in Europe.
Of course, not playing regularly could be an issue for someone who is 28, but the chance to enhance his career could be too tempting for Deeney to resist.
