Arsenal face Manchester United this weekend in a vital clash in the title race.

The Gunners have barely put a single foot wrong this season, and they know that if they can stay consistent over the next five months, they will secure their first league title in 19 years.

Mikel Arteta’s side have lost just one league game this season, and, interestingly, their only defeat this term came against Sunday’s opposition at Old Trafford.

Indeed, United beat Arsenal 3-1 in the reverse fixture, but even then there was an overwhelming feeling that the Red Devils got away with one on that day.

The Gunners outplayed United at Old Trafford, and a repeat performance at the Emirates should see Arteta and his men pick up another three points.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Arsenal’s starting XI for this one.

Arsenal's predicted XI vs Manchester United

As the old saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

We’re predicting an unchanged XI for Arsenal here after a triumphant outing in the north London derby last time out.

It may not be the most exciting or thought-provoking predicted XI you’ve ever seen, but sometimes, the obvious answer is the right answer.

This line-up is quickly establishing itself as Arsenal’s best XI, and while the Gunners may well have Leandro Trossard available to them here, it’s hard to envisage that the Belgian will be put in from the start after having just a few days training alongside his new teammates.

This is bound to be an incredibly close clash between two English giants, and the winner of this game may well go on to win the title this term.
