As Arsenal fans have wondered which shirt number Leandro Trossard is set to be handed, the answer is No.19.
The previous player to wear the number was none other than Nicolas Pepe, who is currently on loan at Nice from Mikel Arteta’s side.
However, the Emirates faithful would seemingly rather associate the shirt number with Gunners legend, Santi Cazorla, who donned it during his memorable spell at the club.
And now, Leandro Trossard has been handed the No.19 after his January switch to Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion has been confirmed by the official website.
Much like Santi Cazorla, the club’s loyal fanbase can expect their latest recruit and wearer of the No.19 to produce plenty of flicks and tricks.
While Trossard’s stats are undoubtedly impressive, there aren’t many players in the Premier League as technically gifted as the brand-new Gunner.
And while not to Cazorla’s extent, but the Belgian international is also extremely two-footed.

Interesting, some of the other heroes at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League era to also wear the number include the likes of Jack Wilshere and Gilberto Silva, who was famously in the unforgettable ‘Invincibles’ side.
It seems Leandro Trossard is in esteemed company after being handed the No.19, which seems to be a shirt number worn by some top players at the club.
