ESPN has claimed that Brentford want £30 million as transfer fee for Said Benrahma, with Arsenal and Leeds United among the clubs interested in the left-winger.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester City are interested in Benrahma, according to ESPN, while Le Buteur has claimed that Leeds – who have won automatic promotion to the Premier League – are ready to make an offer (click here to read more).

Stats

According to WhoScored, Benrahma – described as “a tricky player” by his Brentford teammate Henrik Dalsgaard to WestLondonSport in June 2020 – has made 40 starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds this season, scoring 17 goals and providing eight assists in the process.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the 24-year-old Algeria international winger made 29 starts and nine substitute appearances in the league for the Bees, scoring 10 goals and providing 14 assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Brentford exit

Brentford are in the Championship playoffs this season and could end up getting promoted to the Premier League.

If the Bees do get promoted, then they will be in a better position to keep hold of the Algerian, but the stature of Arsenal and Leeds could be too tempting for the former Nice player.
