Aston Villa midfielder Trezeguet has taken to Instagram to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Liverpool on Saturday.
Villa suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of the Reds at Villa Park in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old midfielder put the Villans in the lead in the 21st minute, but late goals from Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane saw Jurgen Klopp’s side pick up all three points from the encounter.
Trezeguet – who joined Villa from Turkish club Kasimpas in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £8.75 million – has taken to Instagram to give his reaction to the final result.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Villa Park on Saturday, hosts Villa had 26% of the possession, took five shots of which two were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
Dean Smith’s side are 16th in the Championship table at the moment with 11 points from as many matches, just three points above the relegation zone.
Villa will return to action next weekend when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League.
