West Ham United winger Michail Antonio was left on the substitutes’ bench for Manuel Pellegrini’s side’s friendly yesterday.

Trevor Sinclair has warned Manuel Pellegrini off selling West Ham United winger Michail Antonio.
Antonio was left on West Ham’s substitutes’ bench for their friendly against Hertha Berlin yesterday.
Pellegrini named a line-up which could well be close to the one which he names for West Ham’s first competitive game of the campaign.
And Sinclair is worried that Antonio’s exclusion suggests that Pellegrini might be open to selling him.
It does not appear that West Ham have fended off any bids for Antonio yet, but if he is available he would be an appealing addition for number of teams.
Antonio is able to play out wide or up-front, and he has proven effective over a number of seasons at West Ham.
The former Nottingham Forest man has been with the Hammers since his £7 million move in 2015 (Daily Mail) and developed into a very important player.
Antonio does face more competition for a starting spot than ever before though, with West Ham strengthening their attacking ranks this summer with the additions of Pablo Fornals and Sebastian Haller.
West Ham beat Hertha 5-3 in yesterday’s friendly, with Antonio coming on as a second half substitute.
