Trevor Sinclair has urged West Ham United on Twitter to sign Joshua King from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.

The former West Ham winger made the suggestion on the social networking site following the Hammers’ 2-1 win against Leeds United at Elland Road in the Premier League on Friday evening.

Sinclair believes that if the Hammers want to finish among the elite this season, then they should bring in the 28-year-old Norway international striker from Championship club Bournemouth.

Joshua King to West Ham United?

Sebastien Haller failed to score yet again on Friday evening despite having chances. The 26-year-old striker has scored two goals in 529 minutes in the Premier League for the Hammers so far this season, according to WhoScored.

It is simply not happening for Haller at West Ham at the moment, and it would make sense sense for the London club to look at bringing in a new striker.

King may have failed to score in five Championship matches for Bournemouth so far this season, but the 28-year-old scored six goals and gave four assists in 24 Premier League starts in 2019-20 and scored 12 goals and gave three assists in 34 league starts in 2018-19, according to WhoScored.
