The Celtic fan has taken a dig at Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers on Twitter.

Trevor Sinclair celebrates scoring for Queens Park Rangers

Celtic fan Trevor Sinclair has said on Twitter that he used to love Clint Hill….before he joined a “newly-formed club north of the border”.

Hill joined Rangers on a one-year deal last summer and it remains to be seen if the Gers will offer the 38-year-old defender a contract extension.

Former Manchester City and QPR attacker Sinclair was discussing the Sky Blues’ central defensive options when a fan put it to him, in jest, that Hill was available.

Hill spent six years at Loftus Road prior to joining Rangers, and Sinclair claimed that he used to admire the veteran defender before he joined the Ibrox side.

Sinclair’s allegiances for Celtic are well documented, with the man himself regularly tweeting his support for the Hoops during matches and whatnot.

It was a blatant dig at Rangers and Celtic supporters acknowledged the jousting afterwards.
