Trevor Sinclair has revealed what Joe Hart told him about Ange Postecoglou’s training sessions as Celtic manager.
Celtic picked up a massive result on Wednesday night by hammering Rangers 3-0 at Parkhead.
As a consequence, Postecoglou’s players moved top of the Scottish Premiership standings and one point above above their Glasgow rivals.
The Hoops look a good bet to triumph over Rangers and reclaim the Premiership title that their rivals won under Steven Gerrard last season.
And Hart – who joined Celtic last summer – certainly is impressed by Postecoglou, adding that the Australian manager holds ‘unbelievable’ training sessions, according to Sinclair.
He told talkSPORT: “I was so impressed with the manager. I spoke to Joe Hart a couple of times and the intensity in training is unbelievable, he wants to win.”
Celtic endured something of an inauspicious start to life under Postecoglou last summer, it has to be said.
However, it simply cannot be argued against that his players are certainly responding to his methods.
There’s nothing like an emphatic Old Firm victory to get the supporters firmly on your side and any Celtic fan who had reservations about him prior to Wednesday will have been swiftly converted by 10pm later that night.
The Parkhead outfit were absolutely ruthless and efficient against Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side and maybe, just maybe, it’s the victory that leads them to Premiership glory.
